とりあえずこちらの記事によるとOS7.1に新しく搭載される機能のようです。
どんな機能が搭載されるのか非常に楽しみです。
使い勝手を落とさずに長持ちしてくれたらいいんですけどね。
ちなみに9900だとバックライトを一番暗くしても十分画面は明るいです。
